Perspective

I have just come back from an out-of-country trip and am so beyond floored that the politicians and news networks continue to pander to the "critter" dispute in the House of Commons. It parallels the story of "Rome burning and Nero playing his violin." Why are they still talking about who called whom what when they should be focusing on the actual environmental initiative being proposed and its merit?

Composting, recycling and all the many conservation initiatives that are being put forward by really great people willing to devote their lives and talents to causes that they believe in .... these are the issues that our politicians should be focused on rather than being concerned about name or not-name calling.
